South Carolina State senior Tyrell Richard won the men's 400 meters in 44.82 seconds at the NCAA Division 1 Indoor Championships at the CrossPlex in Birmingham, Ala. Richard elevated to the No. 4 performer in collegiate indoor history and No. 5 all-time in the world, winning the first national indoor title for South Carolina State.
